Helping Our Unique Students Excel

H.O.U.S.E. is an afterschool program with a primary mission to keep inner-city youth safe during after school hours while simultaneously providing mentorship by fostering 21st century leadership skills through entrepreneurship, sportsmanship, civics, and community development activities. With these goals as our foci, we are confident we will succeed in empowering the next generation of global citizens armed with the tools they need to triumph over any obstacle in their chosen paths.

Our Mission

Our mission is to keep the youth safe after school as we engage them in a unique curriculum with enriched activities.  We are committed to developing every youth into future leaders through a STEAM enhanced mentorship program which targets their interest while sparking creativity. These rich learning experiences will prepare them for college and career readiness as we strengthen their character and self-esteem to be 21st century leaders.

Our Programs

Our program is comprised of four key programs: Mentorship, Entrepreneurship, Sports, and Global Citizenship. These programs are designed to empower youth to become future leaders through EQUITY & ACCESS. The end goal is to foster future global citizens, capable of sustaining and building their local communities.

 

Mentorship

Enables youth to have positive role models through professional leadership.
 

Entrepreneurship

Aid students to think outside the box and nurture unconventional talents and skills. It creates opportunities, instills confidence, and stimulates the economy.

Sports and Nutrition

Develop and promote lifelong healthy habits through exercise, fostering sportsmanship, and improving one's social emotional stability.
 

Global citizenship

Helps young people develop the core competencies which allow them to actively engage with the world, and help make it a more just and sustainable place. Additionally, it helps youth develop their own community.
